This past weekend was one of reflection for many. While fathers were celebrated and honored, many took to social media to also commemorate Juneteenth. A few brothers from Beta Psi Omega (BPO) decided to actually be social, and took their desire to serve to St. Phillips AME Church in Lithonia, GA.
This Juneteenth celebration that St. Phillips hosted was met by rain, but was greeted by a continuous flow of supporters who came out to commemorate the day while enjoying good music and a wide selection of savory, yet healthy food options. The brothers of BPO were happy to assist in the background to help ensure the success of the event.
